FanFic

This might be enough to bring tears to avid fanfic readers eyes - I know I feel like crying. I’ve lost all my fanfiction.

Over the years any stories that I’ve enjoyed I’ve saved to disc so I can read them again and again and again. Generally I convert them to PDB format so I can read them on my palm and then save them.

Well I just went to upload a few more stories to my reader - opened my disc and they’ve all gone. I don’t know what happened. I do sort of remember a week or so ago I went to write some new files to the disc so just clicked the write to disc button and thought nothing more of it. Now they’ve all gone and as far as I can see it’s not that I can’t open the disc it’s that they’ve all been deleted. And again I say - I don’t know what happened - but it’s enough to make me cry.

While I can get some of those stories back easy enough - many of them are no longer available online - even if I try the wayback machine. And remembering just what I had on there.

As for right now, I seem to have something in my eye.
