Thanks to a comment left on this blog a little while ago (initial post here) I’ve spent a bit of time off and on wandering around the Fan History site. At the time of the comment I mentioned that I’d take a look at it and post a link to it in this blog - well, first I must apologise for not getting to this sooner and second I  must say I’m not sure where to start.

According to the site

Fan History is a fandom portal dedicated to documenting the history of fandom and creating a directory of everyone in fandom

But it is so much more than that…

It provides its visitors with information on the history of various fandoms, a list of fan communities and current fandom news - you can read more about this on the About Page

Whether it’s books, movies, theatre, tv shows or anything in between there’s no doubt a fandom/community for it and this site has it covered.

There’s so much more here than I could cover, and being a wiki it’s ever-growing so go and take a look the next time you’re wondering about the history of your fandom.
