Fanfiction: Where The End Is Just The Beginning
Though this is not a contest I’m going to add it to that section – On the 19th of July 2008 it’s International Femslash Day.
On this day the Femslash Community is going to stand up and count themselves a force to be reckoned with. To show they can compete with the het and slash fanfic communities.
To aide in this, for first time writers, if you submit your story to the fanfiction archive, (and leave a comment here notifying me that you’ve just sumbitted your very first story) I will set up a section on the main fanfic site to help promote your first online story, which will in turn hopefully garner you more feedback and reviews etc. As well as adding it to the reviewers group to become a potential story for review by members of the group
For established authors, if you submit to the fanfiction archive (and let me know via a comment on this blog) your story will also be added to the reviewers group as story for review by members.
For readers and others, help spread the word for International Femslash Day
